The phenomenon of antibiotic resistance, in recent years, has increased considerably and few new antibiotics have been discovered and commercialized. Antibiotic resistance is becoming a major public health problem which increasingly calls for effectives strategies to contain the problem.
The main objectives of our working group are as follows.
- Identify the most effective measurement to limit the transmission of MDROs, in order to draw up guidelines that summarize the latest guidelines on the management of patients in hospital and residential setting.
- Structure means to facilitate the implementation of the guidelines in the various care contexts.
